PRIYADARSHNI AWARDS CONFERRED ON GLOBAL ACHIEVERS – THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL

The 28th Anniversary Priyadarshini Global Awards held at the Trident in Mumbai was a grand affair with the creme de la creme in attendance. Global Achievers from all over the world which included Argentina and Belgium were recognized, acknowledged, appreciated and applauded. Ghulam Nabi Azad, The Chief Guest at this exclusive gathering was all praise for the sheer enterprise and organizational skills of Nanik Rupani, Chairman, Priyadarshini Academy.

Niranjan Hiranandani, Vice-Chairman, Priyadarshini Academy waxed eloquent about imparting skill training to the deprived and economically weaker sections of society.

Deepika Padukone had the shutterbugs in a frenzy as she received the Smita Patil Memorial Award for her significant contribution to the film industry.

The numbers well and truly added up for Aditya Puri, Managing Director, HDFC Bank who won thePriyadarshini Global award for visionary leadership in the banking industry.

When it comes to globalization of the Indian Industry, the Birla Group is top of the mind recall and the same was strongly re-affirmed as Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group received the award for making a global impact.

The International footprint of the priyadarshini awards spread as far and wide to Dr. Jeanne Devos in Belgium for protection of the rights of the domestic workers and Juan Schiaretti in Argentina for significant contribution in upliftment of the downtrodden in a very transparent political environment.

Milind Deora, Loksabha MP from Mumbai was felicitated for his induction in the Union Cabinet

and Piyush Goel was acknowledged for his appointment as a Rajyasabha member.

                                                     

Also spotted in the gathering wereDr. Hrishikesh Pai and Dr. Nandita Palshetkar, eminent infertility specialists, who kept cheering the winners and their achievements.

Anil Deshmukh and Dilip Walse Patil were the guests of honour. Jayawantiben Mehta and Rupa Shah were all ears and sat through the entire duration of this highly interesting programme.

Dr. Samir Brahmachari for inclusive innovations.

The event was very ably anchored by Reena Rupani, the highly talented daughter of Nanik Rupani.

An elaborate and lavish dinner was laid out at the rooftop for the distinguished dignitaries, as congratulatory messages from all over the world poured in.

The winners were in high spirits and were all praise for the commendable work of Priyadarshini Academy in social, economical and cultural spheres of society.
