Pritam Chakraborty & Tips collaborate yet again for Race 2
After giving several chartbusters on their collaborations together – right from Race, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani and Kismat Konnection, producer Ramesh Taurani now ropes in Pritam for the music of the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster, Race 2,making this their 6th film together.
Happy to have the music composer on board, says producer Ramesh Taurani “Pritam has given some of his best music for the film and we are happy to be associated with him in the second installment of the Race franchise.”
While the film’s title track “Allah Duhai Hai” has been pumped up and retained ,other songs on the album like “ Party on my mind” and “Lat lag gaye” have already become a hit this holiday season,with foot tapping tunes in signature Pritam style.
Talking about the equation he shares with the production house, says Pritam “ It’s really fun to work with the Race team once again. Race 2 is our sixth film together. It shows the faith that Rameshji has in me. Work wise, we share an excellent rapport.”
Produced by Tips ,the action thriller Race 2 ,starring Saif Ali Khan,John Abraham,Deepika Padukone,Jacqueline Fernandez,Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel is scheduled to release 25thJanuary,2013.
