Sam Productions film “Dekho…Yeh Hai Mumbai”Writen,Directed by Sneh Tuli faces a freaky incident in Gujarat while shooting fora special number, which was to be performed by Preeti Jhangiani.
A 15 ft tall stage was built for the shoot ofthe song, with some rural rustic set in the background, to give the rural feelto the song. After the rehearsal of the background dancers, choreographercalled up Preeti to come for the shot, as everything was ready, but before sheleaves for the venue, suddenly the stage collapsed and luckily she didn’t reachthe stage, so was saved from a massive accident. Preeti was in deep shock asthat incident happened in few seconds of time, and thanked god that she didn’tstep-up to reach the stage which she was about to, Preeti adds “this incident hassurely taken first place in my, “most scariest moments of life”.
Director Sneh Tuli as well as other crewmembers were themselves very shocked with the incident which happened, and theshoot was kept on hold till the stage and the set-up was fixed again. Like a trueprofessional Preeti Jhangiani waited for the stage to get fixed, so that shecould complete the shoot as she had the idea of the huge amount of money spentto build the stage, she consolidated Director Sneh Tuli that “lets thank godthat everyone is fine and forget (which she can’t) about it and prepare for theshoot. Sneh Tuli had to suffer huge amount of loss for the costly set-up andstage but still she continued as she didn’t wanted her film to suffer andquickly made the decision of getting a new set-up done.
