Pooja Sawant’s back on sets after her horror ordeal on Make In India!

????????????????????????????????????

When Marathi actress Pooja Sawant turned up on time at the sets of Midas Touch Movies’ film Lapachhapi on Monday, producer Jitendra Patil and director Vishal Furia were pleasantly surprised.
Just a few hours ago, Pooja had experienced real life horror during the Make In India event when the stage caught fire as Pooja was dancing. Pooja had not only saved the dancers and her parents who rushed on stage, but in a few hours also got ready with her make up for her reel life horror experience for Lapachhapi.
“Lapachhapi in the first mainstream Marathi horror film and Pooja plays the lead in the film. We were happy at her professionalism,” says Patil.
Lapachhapi belongs to the classic horror genre and the filmmakers plan to tap international markets first. “We want to get into the best film festivals first and have a widespread release across the world,” says Furia.
Pooja Sawant on her part says that Furia’s showreel got her to do the film. “He has made some award winning international promos and when I saw them I wanted to be a part of the film,” says she.
The male lead Vikram Gaikwad recounts a story on the sets. “The hairdresser started shrieking once and fell unconscious. Later we were told that she had felt a strong paranormal force around her which led to that,” he says.
