POGO celebrates World Environment Day, supports #BeatPlasticPollution initiative
Kids’ favorite toons came together to support Bhamla Foundation’s noble cause-
POGO, India’s leading kids’ entertainment channel, celebrated World Environment Day, to spread awareness about safeguarding our environment in association with Bhamla Foundation. Commemorating this day, POGO, Kids Channel partner spread environmental protection awareness through the campaign- #BeatPlasticPollution, among 250 kids and Bollywood celebrities.
Giving a fun twist to this programme, POGO’s eco champs – Bheem, Chutki, Tom & Jerry, and Tik Tak Tail spread the message of refusing to use plastic through special dance performance on Tik Tik plastic anthem. The popular toons were seen engaging with enthusiastic kids, and were joined by celebrities such as Shaan, Armaan Malik, Siddhanth Kapoor, Tanisha Mukherjee, Shiamak Davar and Aditya Thackeray along with Asif Bhamla, founder of the Bhamla Foundation.
In its second year of association with Bhamla Foundation, POGO beloved toons were also seen painting social messages like ‘#BeatPlasticPollution’ along the promenade of Carter Road while beautifying the area.
