Global and Indian CEOs, Policymakers and Thinkers will congregate in New Delhi

New Delhi, The Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the second edition of ‘Airtel and The Economic Times Global Business Summit 2016’. After an eventful first edition where he outlined his grand economic and development vision for the new age India, the summit will once again be inaugurated by Hon’ble PM Modi on the evening of January 29, 2016. Reinstating his vision of making India a global business hub, Hon’ble PM Modi is yet again expected to deliver a thought-provoking and inspirational address at this year’s summit.

The two-day event will be held at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi on January 29 and 30, 2016. It will bring together an august gathering of business visionaries, political leaders, policymakers and economic thinkers from more than 10 countries including business delegations from Canada, United States of America, Russia, Finland, Israel and Catalonia.

Hon’ble PM Modi will be supported by a star-studded line-up of high-profile speakers which include Nassim Nicholas Taleb, an author and distinguished professor of risk engineering, Ram Charan, a renowned business author and advisor to some of the leading companies of the world and Dr. Nouriel Roubini, a famous economist and strategic thinker who will share his outlook on emerging economies and India’s role on the global stage.

Through the Airtel and Economic Times Global Business Summit 2016, the international delegates are expected to make a strong pitch for collaboration in the presence of PM Modi, his ministers and other business leaders. Led by Hon’ble Kathleen Wynne, Canadian politician and 25th Premier of Ontario, the Canadian delegation will explore trade and investment collaboration opportunities between India and Ontario. Representatives from Russia will focus on strengthening economic partnership with India following the renewed engagement between two countries while then Catalan delegation will showcase and promote its ‘Smart City’ model to generate interest from stakeholders.
