PM attends Maharashtra Government Swearing In Ceremony in Mumbai

The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi graced the Swearing-In Ceremony of the new Government in Maharashtra, led by Shri Devendra Fadnavis on Friday, October 31, 2014.
 
The oath taking ceremony was held at the Wankhede Stadium, and was attended by over 35,000 people. 
 
The Governor of Maharashtra, Shri C Vidyasagar Rao, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Chief Minister, 7 Cabinet Ministers and two Ministers of State. 
 
Union Ministers – Shri Nitin Gadkari, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad,  Shri Ananth Kumar, Shri Prakash Javadekar, Shri Piyush Goyal, Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman  and BJP President Shri Amit Shah were prominent among those present at the ceremony. 
 
Several Chief Ministers of states, including Ms. Vasundhara Raje, Shri Raman Singh, Shri Manohar Parrikkar, Smt. Anandiben Patel, Shri Parkash Singh Badal were also present. 
 
Prominent citizens of Mumbai representing industry, banking, entertainment and sports and consular officers posted in Mumbai also participated in the ceremony.
