Pernia Qureshi to promote classical dance through dance recitals in various cities!
Actress-fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi, who made her Bollywood debut with Muzaffar Ali’s Jaanisaar released last year, is also a trained classical dancer. The style icon will now be seen promoting India’s classical dance forms – Kathak and Kuchipudi through her dance recitals that she will be conducting in India and abroad including Delhi, Mumbai and abroad.
Her dance recitals, ‘Chandi Raatein – Love and Dance under the Moonlight with Pernia Qureshi’ to be held in Delhi on 12th February will be a live orchestra with musicians and singers and the whole recital will be about 50 minutes to an hour. Pernia has been a disciple of Kathak guru Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy and has also trained with Kumudini Lakhia, who choreographed her dance steps in Jaanisaar.
While the Delhi dance recital is scheduled on 12th February.
