Panorama & Picturesque: Floating Restaurant AB CELESTIAL NOW in Mumbai
Chetan & Manju Bhende of WB International Consultants partnering with Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) & Maharashtra Maritime Board launched Mumbai’s first Iconic floating Restaurant ‘AB CELESTIAL’ at the Bandra jetty.
Chetan & Manju Bhende’s brainchild the 625 seater multi-cuisine restaurant which will operate from a three deck ship docked at the Bandra jetty was inaugurated by political dignitaries Sri Chhagan Bhujbal (Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Tourism) , Sri Ranjit Kamble (Hon’ble State Minister for Tourism), JS Saharia (Hon’ble Chief Secretary of Maharashtra).
The Launch of this lavishly constructed yacht saw the creme-de-la-creme Dorris and Bharat Godambe,
Prashant Sharma, Dr. Mohiuddin Malkani, Amy Billimoria, Dr.Ruby Tandon, Kavita Verma, Nataliya Kozhenova, to witness the 1st ever launch of ‘AB CELESTIAL’.
With a view to give the Maharashtra Tourism & Culture a boost with broadening the current tourism horizon of Mumbai & Maharashtra State & a jewel in the Crown of Mumbai, Chetan & Manju Bhende initiated the enterprise which facilitated construction of the sea-link.
Providing picturesque view, the floatel ‘AB CELESTIAL’ Is made & imported from USA will be docked at the Maharashtra Maritime Board’s jetty at Bandra under the Bandra Worli Sea Link, providing the watchers with a 360 degree stunning view of the Mumbai city & Sea Link.
This Floatel ‘AB CELESTIAL’ is a professional state of the art 4 tier Luxury dinning yacht with a sky deck, 2 galleys, & will have 2 multi cuisine restaurants including a club lounge equipped with a 24 hour coffee shop, the overall capacity of this yacht is focused at accommodating a minimum of 660 guests between the 4 tiers of the Floatel
The Floatel concept was conceived & spearheaded by Maharashtra State Government with numerous other State Government bodies involved to make this a reality & jewel in the crown of Maharashtra.
WB International Consultants & AB Hospitality headed by Smt. Manju Bhende & Aishwarya C Bhende would be responsible of the entire operations of the Floatel ‘AB Celestial’ in Mumbai.
