Oye 104.8 FM Sabse Filmi beats the competition in Kolkata
OYE! 104.8 FM, India’s ‘Sabse Filmi’ radio station, part of the TV Today Network is climbing up the charts and beating the competition, one city after another. As per the latest RAM ratings, Oye! 104.8 FM with a relative share of 9.7% has upset the competition in Kolkata, with Friends FM, Amar FM and Red Fm trailing far behind.
In terms of Cume, Oye FM is the only station that has shown such high growth with most other stations showing a negative trend (Source: RAM, Mkt– Kolkata, TG – All People 12+, Sun-Sat 12AM-12AM). Oye! 104. 8 FM is changing the market scenario in Kolkata by leaving Red FM, Fever FM, Amar FM and Friends FM far behind in Cume.
Ashish Bagga, CEO India Today Group said on the latest ratings, ‘The focus on understanding our listeners and tuning our content accordingly is working well. We are in the midst of aggressive promotions across our key markets and the coming weeks only see us climbing up the charts.’
The revamp of the content and music strategy along with focused marketing promotions including promotions during Durga Puja besides tie ups with local TV channels have contributed in driving this upward trend.
