Actress Kajol visited Durga puja welcoming and unveiling, With Samrat Mukherje, Aneel Murarka, Sumona chakraborty were present
Finally Maa Durga along with her children will be welcomed by Kajol and all the other members of North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti. She will be fork lifted and placed in the truck specially designed for her.
Maa will be adorning the saree specially designed by designer duo Jyoti and Bhumika (who have done the entire collection) . Once she is placed on the bedi (platform where the idols are kept) , the final touches will be completed.
Maa’s Murti is 17 feet in height and weighs 5 tonnes,making her the tallest and heaviest Murti in Mumbai. Mr. Debu Mukerji along with his team will be supervising the arrangements. The Puja fever begins.
