Whilst packing up for the day, the crew were in a relaxed mood and decided to play a prank on one of the spotboys of Tamanchey. They asked him to audition for the role of a gangster in the film. Maybe the spotboy felt that this was his opportunity in the sun and in all earnestness to create an impact started seriously ‘Acting’ and mouthed his over dramatic dialogues in Bhojpuri.

The whole unit was in splits and started laughing at him, but unnoticed to them, Nikhil Dwivedi was observing it from his vanity van. Nikhil appreciated his ‘Intensity’ and intent and requested the director to give him a role in the film, since the film is based in the interiors and would give authencity to the character. The director too agreed and gave him a role that suited him in the film.Well some dreams are made of these!

TAMANCHEY is an acidic love story, rumouredly based on the love story of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi.
