India’s coveted glam-girl popstar, Neha Bhasin is breaking new grounds in her latest musical offering called Tera Mera. This unreleased single romanticizes with the idea of bridging breakups in love by relapsing back to a cherished friendship. Shot entirely in black and white, Tera Mera tries to project a contrasting perspective of experiencing happiness despite the turbulence of a broken heart. Neha Bhasin has been active on the India music front since 2002, the year where was one of the six girls to win the very popular talent hunt show – Channel [V] popstars to form the band Viva Viva, which had a mammoth following all across India. Post the band’s spilt in 2004; Neha has been lending her voice as a playback singer for films. Her debut Tamil song ‘Pesugiren Pesugiren’ won her the much esteemed Vijay TV Award in 2007. She was nominated for the highly prestigious Filmfare awards in 2008 for the song ‘Kuch Khaas’ from the movie Fashion. Neha has continued to deliver hits working with both Hindi and Tamil music directors like Aadesh Srivastav, Salim- Sulaiman, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Devi Sri Prasad. Neha has since taken a leap into being a solo independent performer, acquired a glamorous avatar and has continued to deliver her steady flow of hits.
Neha put in place a month long campaign on Social Media to engage her fans and arouse curiosity. Several contests focused around the theme behind Tera Mera are executed offering fans rare opportunities to get specially autographed copies of the single and personalised merchandise.
