Tannishtha Chatterjee and Nawazuddin Siddiqui would next be seen sharing screen space with the National Award winner Director Mangesh Hadawale’s “Dekh Indian Circus”. The duo had a tough time shooting for the movie. A source from the unit adds, “While shooting for a scene with sheep’s, both Nawaz and Tannishtha who went close to the sheep’s got infected by the insects called Ticks. While shooting Nawaz felt something crawling on his feet only to seen insects which were biting and sucking his blood.” Nawaz immediately asked Tannishtha if she was fine as she was also close to the sheep and insects were biting her also.
Both the actors legs were swollen and bleeding because of insect biting, the locals present at the shoot suggested to put salt and turmeric on the wounds. A doctor was immediately called for a check-up and the doctor gave Nawazzudin an injection and prescribed some medications.
On the other hand Tannishtha was very scared of getting an injection as she always is scared of needles since childhood. A source says, “Tannishtha screamed like a child seeing the injection and both the child actors started laughing and joking about Tannishtha being scared as they were not scared of injections plus Tannishtha was playing the role of their mother in the movie”
Finally Nawaz convinced her by saying it doesn’t pain and she had to take the injection as it was required to do away with infections and the whole crew which were scared breathed a sigh of relief. The whole crew was scared and didn’t want their actors to fall ill because of the infection and took utmost care while shooting.
