Natasha Malpani Oswal’s book is a tribute to women everywhere finding their own voice
n the era of women leading a life full of freedom and opportunities today, Natasha Malpani Oswal becomes a shining light to those who are still in the journey of self-discovery.
Through her poems, Natasha reaches out to women, nudging them to set out on the journey of finding their own voice and identity. This is her poetry book ‘Boundless’, which has been divided across 5 sections, them being falling, recovery, belonging, escaping and discovery.
Speaking at the event, Natasha said, “I decided to publish the poem with the hope to help other people going through certain transitions in life. That was the message that I wanted to drive forward. I deeply believe that each one of us has the power to design and shape our own lives and the time for us to begin is now.”
Further adding some light to the magic of poetry, Ekta Kapoor revealed, “I love poetry. There are times when you need poetry it to survive a lot of moments. There is a lot of philosophy and depth in what is being conveyed through words. Sometimes it’s boundless.”
Commenting on the theme Sushant Singh Rajput said, “I think there are different ways of saying that helps us resonate. The more ways to express something, the better it is. Poetry in itself is a simple truth at the same type cryptographic. It is a condensed form of a feeling that can only come out through poetry. It’s all about feeling the emotion and poetry does have that power”.
Admitting that it is the vulnerability of women that inspired her to write these poems, Natasha believes that there is no greater journey than the one you must take to discover all of the mysteries that lie within you. By penning down her thoughts, she has wonderfully captured and explored the idea of home, belonging and identity through these poems.
