– Jewel of India announced today that 2nd Annual Miss India International will take place on Sunday May 6th 2012 at THE MADISON HOTEL, New Jersey – Sponsored by CRITERIUM JAGIASI – http://criterium-jagiasi.com/ . “Last year the pageant was held in Delaware, attended by over 400 people but this year we are excited to bring it to New Jersey”, said Juhi Jagiasi, the CEO and Founder of Jewel of India and Director of MISS INDIA INTERNATIONAL. In addition to the pageant there will be ‘Fashion Designer CONTEST’ and ‘Best Runway Model CONTEST’. To win the coveted title each contestant will compete in 4 categories: Indian Dress, Evening Gown, Fitness Wear & Interview Round.
The show will be hosted by Sonam Sharma (SAPNA 2011 TITLEHOLDER), Ravi Sastry, and Trisha Bhangra Arora (Host, Bhangra Beats – Radio Asia); And there will be Special Performances by Ritu Shah, Biba Singh and Vicky Kohli.
The Panel of Judges comprises of big names like Kalpana Pandit (Bollywood Actress), Ean Williams (Executive Director, DC FASHION WEEK), Tejinder Singh (White House Correspondent), Harry Romana (Founder, IND TV USA), Manan Singh Katohora (Internationally-Acclaimed Award-winning Filmmaker), Tirusha Dave (CEO, BRAVURA Magazine), Samina Moghul (Fashion Designer), Anand G (Fashion Designer), Jayesh Mehta (CEO, Aum Events), and Ravi Kant (News Anchor, TV Asia).
Juhi Jagiasi, a physician by profession, has immense passion for music, fashion and dance. She has choreographed Fashion shows and dances for community events as well as for prestigious organizations like India Fair. She has also been a judge for dance competitions like MUQABLA and judge in beauty pageant Miss India Worldwide. She is also the title holder of MRS DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL 2010. Currently she is the Director of MISS INDIA INTERNATIONAL . She has held several beauty pageants over the last 17 years under her company name JEWEL OF INDIA. Her winners have gone on to become International Movie Stars (SHEETAL SHETH). Recently she also modeled at the WORLD FASHION CONTEST held in Ballys Atlantic city.
