Martin Sheen speaks about Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain’ with Smriti Kiran on Film Companion
Hollywood actor Martin Sheen recently gave an interview with Smriti Kiran on Anupama Chopra’s YouTube channel, ‘Film Companion’. Martin talks about the experience of playing the character of Warren Anderson, the man embroiled in the controversy related to the Bhopal Gas Tragedy in his upcoming film ‘Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain’. He even talks about the making of his films like ‘Apocalypse Now’ and his stint with television.
‘Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain’ is a film based on the Bhopal Gas Tragedy of 1984 which takes the liberty to reveal a version of the reality about how the tragedy came to be. The film, written by Ravi Kumar and David Brooks, stars Martin Sheen, Misha Barton, Kal Penn, Rajpal Yadav, Akhil Mishra, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Fagun Thakrar. ‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’, produced by Sahara Movie Studios and Rising Star Entertainment will release in India and abroad on 5th Dec, 2014.
