“At first, when the makers told Mansha that she has to shoot with real dead bodies, she was a little scared. However, later on while shooting the scene, she took just two takes. Mansha will be seen in two different avatars in the film. She will be playing the role of a college girl and then there is a five- year leap in the film, after which she will be seen as a doctor,” a source says.
“Yes, I have shot in a morgue for the particular scene where I am having a conversation with my fiancée played by Arfi Lamba over the phone. There was no other cast member present. I was all alone. At first, I was a little scared, but later I was comfortable. I had completed the scene in just two takes as there was a time slot given to us by the hospital and also they allowed only few people to enter in the morgue,” Mansha says.
Fugly is a thriller with a strong social message. The film also stars boxing champion Vijender Singh, Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani and Jimmy Sheirgill.
