A host of celebrities and socialites walk the ramp to support the cause

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Pidilite Industries Ltd. hosted its much awaited 7th Annual ‘Caring with Style’ Fashion Show in association with The Cancer Patients Aid Association, at The Lalit Hotel, Mumbai on July 01, 2012.

This initiative is a part of Pidilite’s continuous commitment to support children suffering from cancer for the 7th year in succession. At the event, style icons from the film fraternity, prominent industrialists and achievers from different walks of life, like Auyushman Khurana, Omi Vaidya, Zarine Khan, Vidya Malvade, Shamita Shetty, Tanisha Mukherjee, Daina Hayden, Smriti Irani, Shalini Thackrey, Sheetal Mafatlal, Shibani Kashyap, Mona Singh, Vidyut Jamwal, Sophie Chaudhary, Suchitra Pillai, Shahzaan Padamsee , Alyque Padamsee, Leena Mogre, Aashish Chaudhary, Suchitra Pillai, Harsha Bhogle, Neetu Shandra, Shailendra Singh sashayed down the ramp dressed in creations by Manish Malhotra and Shaina NC.

The ever gorgeous Priyanka Chopra looked stunning as the show stopper in Manish Malhotra creations. Also seen at the event were Ila Arun and Alisha Chinoy.

Pidilite, a market leader in consumer and specialty chemicals in India, organized the ‘Caring with Style’ Fashion Show to acknowledge the brilliant achievements of 75+ successful men and women for their selfless contribution to society.

The event is known for its glamorous and stylish appeal where the crème de la crème of society rub shoulders with each other to raise funds for this noble cause.

A proud Shaina NC said, “We have received immeasurable support for children suffering from cancer through this event in the past, and this year too we have received overwhelming response. I am grateful to Pidilite Industries and everyone who has walked the ramp and supported this cause to make a difference.”

Manish Malhotra added, “It gives me immense satisfaction to be a part of such a noble cause which not only raises funds for children afflicted with cancer, but also celebrates fashion.”

Sapru, Founder Chairman – Cancer Patients Aid Association, while revealing that blood cancer or leukemia in children is one of the biggest killers in India and 95% of its patients cannot afford treatment said, “Through this show we are once again raising funds to save the lives of several children suffering from blood cancer. We are very grateful to everyone who came here to support CPAA and we would also like to thank Pidilite Industries for their commitment to this cause over the years.”
