First & Foremost let me acknowledge one thing very strongly that I have not seen such a soft touching and Heartfelt Loving approach to any biopic in recent times. There was Shershaah on the life of Vikram Batra but this film beats them all with such a subtle sensitivity that you virtually get transported to that time and era of Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life journey.
The best part is the music incorporated in the films narrative which lifts the spirit of the beloved Hero Unnikrishnan.
Oh Isha!! which beautifully encapsulates the feeling of first love shot in an old school way takes us back to 90’s making us feel nostalgic about our first love.
Music composed by Sri Charan Pakala the song depicts the beauty of love shared by the on-screen couple Adivi and Saiee. It illustrates the friendship, affection, unbreakable relationship and the pain of staying away from each other as her love and life is out saving the inmates of the bomb blast struck Taj palace.
The song sung by Armaan Mallik & Chinmaya Sripada and the lyrics penned by Poojan Kohli touches your heart.
Similarly the beautiful melodies of the song “Saathiya” sung by Javed Ali, composed by Sricharan Rajwada & penned by Ritesh Rajwada, celebrates love beyond distance and showcases the beautiful chemistry between Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar.
Major the film based on the life and time of of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan whose strong will and story of dedication,
valour and the fearless approach he showed during the horrific 26/11 incident of the bomb blast which devastated the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai is indeed a Great Tribute to the Martyrdom of the departed soul. Adivi Sesh playing the main protagonist having written the Story and Screenplay has virtually imbibed the character of Major Sandeep so closely that he brings alive the spirit of  Major Sandeep by exemplifying his works and deeds so convincingly that highlights his Supreme Sacrifice which resulted in saving more than 100 lives.
Director Sashi Kiran Tikka along with Adivi Sesh who is also a writer have woven the whole Scenario so aptly befitting the heroic pursuits of the National Pride Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan that the end result speaks for itself. His direction is so astute that every characterisation is in tune with each other and give their best adding to the story line.
Surprisingly Saiee Manjrekar looks pretty cute and seems immersed in the character. There are some really lovable seqences where she she comes across very lovey dovey with Adivi Sesh who really takes your heart away and bowls you out.
Every character is well sketched right from Saiee Manjrekar to the parents role portrayal by Prakash Raj & Revathi who have delivered very heart warming emotion driven performances. Sobhita Dhulipala who plays one of the house guest stuck up at Taj Palace with her little girl has nothing much to do do but has delivered one of the Best performance as a panic and horror struck inmate not knowing what has fate in store for her. Her Desperation and Fright is so real that it lights up the screen.
Credit goes to Mahesh Babu for producing the biopic and Adivi Sesh & Sashi Kiran Tikka for giving life to the project Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. A story that needs to be watched by EVERY ONE IN INDIA & WORLD OVER  !!!!!
