Madras Cafe looks to enlighten says John Abraham

Having woken the nation up to a taboo subject with Vicky Donor, actor-producer John Abraham , with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures,JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films ‘ Madras Cafe looks to waken the youth up to the political scenario and enlightening them with a thriller that promises not just to entertain but inspire the youth of the country.

Says John Abraham, “Madras Cafe has no bearing or inclination on any party, religion or group, be it a political party or rebel outfit. We’ve made a fair and honest film. Besides we’ve got certification from the censors. So if there was something objectionable, it would have come up by now. It’s a real film in the political thriller space. There’s a lot of inspiration from the history of India. And every youngster in the country should know what happened in the late ’80s and early ’90s.”

Presented by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and  JA Entertainment and produced by Rising Sun Films and JA Entertainment , Madras Cafe ,directed by Shoojit Sircar is scheduled to release 23rd August 2013.
