Mumbai, Zoya, the exquisite diamond boutique, from the House of Tata, today unveiled its stunning new collection ”Jewels of the Crown”, inspired by the regal tiaras and objets d’art of royalty. The elegant evening, was hosted at Mumbai’s most regal venue, the Taj Palace by Zoya’s luxury consultant, Nisha JamVwal.

In keeping with Zoya’s impeccable legacy and emphasis on style, the evening saw Mumbai’s high society delighting in this exquisite & elegant evening that brought together royalty, aristocracy, corporate head honchos, artists, politicians and celebrities.

The evening had renowned models including supermodel Shamita Singha and Pia Trivedi,  Miss India World’s Vanya Mishra and Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Miss India’s Zoya Afroz and Shobhita Dhullipapa and Supermodel and Miss World 1st runner up Parvathy Oomnakuttan, wearing jewellery from Zoya’s newest collection Jewels of the Crown and couture gowns in a show directed by Marc Robinson.

Well known names from the film industry Sushmita Sen, Shekhar and Alka Suman, Sushmita Sen, Arjan Bajwa and Dilip Tahil mingled with the royalty and

corporate leaders like Anu Aga,Nadir and Rati Godrej,

Niraj Bajaj, Surendra and Alka Hiranandani, Parvez and Roshni Damania,

guests such as Meera Mahadevia and Geetu Hinduja, Chetan and Laveena Hansraj, Monica Vazaralli, Rashmi Uday Singh and Deepa Harrris and Gaurav Pokhrial of the Taj.

Theatre personalities Sabira Merchant and Dolly Thakore, Penaz Masani  were seen talking to artists like Arzhan Khambatta and his wife Khushmuma Khambatta and Samar Jodha. Police bigwigs like Comissioner Vishwas Nagre Patil and Krishna Prakash also graced the evening.

Models walked the ramp revealing Zoya’s Jewels of the Crown, a collection that narrates the yet untold tales of aristocracy and centuries of royal decadence. The collection goes back in time to create enduring legacies wrought in gold, diamonds and precious stones.

The design direction for Zoya’s Jewels of the Crown, includes touches of enameling, the use of classic motifs like the wheat stem and ancient inscriptions.  Tanzanite, emeralds, and rubies blend with pressure set diamonds to create magnificent statement pieces inspired by the colors and design of iconic Romanov tiaras.

Intricately worked enamel under a geometric gold and brilliantly cut diamond in a pair of earrings inspired by antique imperial Easter eggs emphasize the exquisite craftsmanship and impeccable detailing of each Zoya product.

The luxury jewellery brand also added a philanthropic touch to the evening with an auction of six exquisite pieces of jewellery with profits from each going to charities “Teach for India” and “Tata Medical Centre”.

Maharaja Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, Maharaja of Udaipur,  Princess, her highness Radhika Raje Gaekwad of Baroda, Princess Krishna Kumari Panna, Princess Arpana Kumari Samod, Princess Jailakshmi of Wadhwan and Princess Bhargavee Kumari Udiapur came onto stage to motivate and inspire Bombay to open its purse strings for a good cause.
