Kiara Advani Seeks Inspiration From The Legendary Madhubala For Her Song ‘First Class’
The makers of the upcoming multi-starrer Kalank recently released the video of their second song – ‘First Class’ and the vibrant new number, featuring the gorgeous belle Kiara Advani in a special appearance alongside Varun Dhawan, has hit all the right chords with the masses.
While the song has received a lot of appreciation from all quarters, Kiara, who is looking utterly stunning in her desi avatar in the song, is also receiving praises galore for her fantabulous dance moves.
Kalank is a period film and interestingly the reference for Kiara’s look in the song was the legendary actress – Madhubala. Kiara, who is a huge Madhubala fan, thought it would be apt to seek inspiration from her favorite actress for this song. So, the versatile actress spent days and hours watching Madhubala dance videos before finally shooting for this energetic number with Varun Dhawan and choreographer Remo D’Souza. And we must say the results are simply spectacular. Kiara is not only looking drop-dead-gorgeous, but her expressions and dance moves are purely mesmerising.
Speaking about her unique prep for the song, Kiara said, “Madhubala is one of the most inspirational and iconic actresses of Indian cinema. When I was offered to do this special song in the film the reference for my look and persona in the song was Madhubala, while I watched many of her songs to pick up a few nuances, I’ll give a lot of credit to Manish who created this look for me.”
While the vibrant and full of energy number has become an instant hit, pretty belle Kiara Advani is also receiving tons of adulation for her stunning dance moves in the introductory song, which is choreographed by Remo D’Souza and was shot over five nights.
In fact, co-star Varun Dhawan, who recently set the stage on fire with Kiara at a recently held award function can’t stop raving about this talented actress. The actor said, “Kiara and I hit it off immediately. She’s hard-working, driven and always has a smile on her face. There is a lot of give and take between my character (Zafar) and her, which, I think, she’s done beautifully in the film. I asked her just once to be part of this song and she agreed. I’m looking forward to working with her in future.”
Well, looking at their terrific chemistry in ‘First Class’, even we can’t wait to see them in a film together.
