Kannada director Atlanta Nagendra makes an Indo-American flick

Director Atlanta Nagendra is the latest one to venture out of the Indian cinema. Settled in Atlanta, Georgia, the Kannada director-writer is done with his latest movie ‘Mumbhai Connection’.

According to the sources, the movie is a Indo-American flick that has well known actors from both the countries. The movie is about an Indian who gets trapped in the notorious world of gangsters and murderers. The movie is shot in Atlanta, one of the most awe inspiring places in US.

Nagendra started his career with Jokefalls, a Kannada comedy. The movie was successful and ran for 175 days in a premier multiplex in Bangalore.

The director himself has written the script and had a wonderful time shooting for it. After chasing Sunidhi Chauhan for a long time, he managed to meet her. The star readily accepted.

The movie follows the trend set by Gurinder Chadha with her movies, that shows Indians settled abroad, stuck in awkward situations.
