MAMI is India’s best known international film festival, showcasing Bollywood, Hollywood and international movies – from blockbusters to art house fare – with a range of competition and showcase categories. A showcase for excellence in cinema, the festival is an annual love letter to the magical medium and a space where Karan Johar, Cary Fukunaga, Aamir Khan, Zhang Yimou and Rajinikanth would feel equally at home.
MAMI Festival Director Anupama Chopra said, “One of our main functions as a festival is to find audiences for films. We are thrilled to have these titles showcased on iTunes. It helps the filmmakers and the festival to reach new audiences.”
This year, iTunes Movies Store will host a specially curated destination for MAMI that will include digital premieres, noteworthy past festival selections, films from the friends of MAMI and music from festival picks exclusively on Apple Music.
