Script writing workshop by Anjum Rajabali
Renowned script writer Anjum Rajabali went for an open discussion with the workshop participants. He threw light on various pillars of screenplay including characterization, emotions, dialogues, and the social elements in the story.
How to write a script with absent dialogue-
He discussed the subject and shown the scenes simultaneously. Besides he shared his views on how to bring a deliberate rhythm in the story. He told how the essence of the plot plays a very critical role in attaining the exact goal of the script.
The structure of the script is very important to generate the dramatic impact, he said. He explained how the results extracted from one scene motivate the birth of the next scene.
The inauguration of the workshop was done by Anjum Rajabali, Shyam Sunder Jalani, and JIFF founder and director, Hanu Roj.
