JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ IS THE FIRST ASIAN FEMALE STAR TO GET DIZZY FOR THE GLOBAL GOALS CAMPAIGN!
Bollywood Belle Jacqueline Fernandez became the first Asian female personality to get behind the #dizzygoals challenge in support of a major campaign launching this month to make the new Global Goals for Sustainable Development famous.
The Global Goals are a series of ambitious targets to end extreme poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030 and will be agreed by 193 world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly. Using the connection of ‘goals’, the dizzy goals challenge invites personalities and the public to run around a ball until they’re dizzy and then to try score a goal.
In the video, Jacqueline is seen as her usual chirpy self, raring to take the Dizzy Goals challenge. She took the Dizzy Goals challenge in the UK coastal town of Dorset, where she is filming Housefull 3 and fellow co-star Akshay Kumar can be heard and seen in the background cheering her on. The ever talented Jacqueline added another feather in her cap when she scored a goal!
Jacqueline’s on point goal brings home the message that world leaders shouldn’t themselves miss the goal posts when signing up to the new Global Goals for Sustainable Development later this month.
Akshay Kumar also took the challenge in Dorset, however, the #DizzyGoals challenge left India’s undisputed action hero no less than dizzy!
The #dizzygoals for The Global Goals campaign is already breaking the internet as some of the world’s leading footballers were challenged to shoot a dizzy penalty. Real Madrid FC and Wales national football team’s Midfielder Gareth Bale took the first dizzy penalty challenge for The Global Goals. He was followed by former footballer Gary Lineker OBE, former England striker Alan Shearer OBE and Liverpool Football Club players Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez. Olympian Usain Bolt also tried his hand at a dizzy challenge.
