It’s a theatrical affair this Ganesh Chaturthi on Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya
Ganesh Chaturthi celebration witnesses a twist in Sony SAB’s immensely loved show Wagle Ki Duniya. The show catering to three different generations has struck the chord with the viewers and its refreshing storyline is loved and appreciated by the audiences across. The upcoming episodes bring alive the fervor and excitement of Ganesh Chaturthi in Rajesh’s (Sumeet Raghavan) thoughtful style.
Rajesh meets his friend Ganesh, a local stage artist, and learns about the impact the ongoing pandemic has had on his livelihood and his plight of not being able to bring Bappa home due to financial crunch. Rajesh gets creative and decides to help him solve his problem. Rajesh convinces his society members to let his friend and his team perform a skit on short stories of Ganesh ji where he also plans to shoot this and make the videos go viral which will urge people to promote and hire local stage artists for their events.
As the Wagle parivaar preps for this theatrical affair in their society, Rajesh promises his boss, Kiara, that even though his entire team is on leave for celebrations with their families, work will stay unaffected, and he will look after everything. As everything seems to fall into place, right on the day of the skit, Rajesh’s friend, Ganesh, informs that the crew of actor met with an accident on their way back to Mumbai. This turn of event forces Rajesh and Vandana (Pariva Pranati) to step in as replacements in the skit.
How will Rajesh fill in as an artist along with managing his work? Will he succeed in promoting the local artists the way he envisioned?
Sumeet Raghavan, essaying the role of Rajesh said, “The storyline of the upcoming episodes is close to my heart. Wagle Ki Duniya is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in a unique way while also delivering a beautiful message to our viewers. I strongly believe in promoting local artists and the upcoming episodes through light on this matter. As an artist I keep learning from these episodes. Ganesh ji is also called Vighnaharta and in the episodes further, Rajesh will try to help his friend find a way out of his hardships and struggles. So, stay tuned as it is going to be a theatrical treat for our viewers, and it’ll be interesting to watch how Rajesh and Vandana perform as replacements in the skit.”
Pariva Pranati, essaying the role of Vandana said, “This week, with Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, Wagle Ki Duniya family is coming up with Wagle Theatre. In the upcoming episodes, with the Wagle theatre coming into play, I am getting an opportunity to perform as Maa Parvati in the skit, so it will be interesting for the viewers to witness Vandana Wagle as Maa Parvati. It was really fun shooting for this episode with Sumeet, and I hope the viewers will enjoy as much as we did while shooting for it.
