It is a foot-tapping number that ably captures the emotions that run through the mind of every Public Relations professional in India picturised with a video that encapsulates the day in a life of a brand marketing expert. It marries the joys, stresses, quirks and highs that are typical to the sphere of PR in the country in an appealing, relatable and catchy package. The idea of the rap anthem was conceptualised by Kunal Kishore Sinha, Co-founder and CEO of Value 360 Communications and and one of the foremost names in the Indian PR industry.
Keeping up with young and zany spirit of the anthem, Value 360 roped in some of the best-known and emerging names in the music industry. Tanveer Singh Kohli, who works along with singer-cum-composer Gaurav Dagaonkar, has composed and programmed the anthem with B-Town’s newbie playback singer Aanchal Shrivastava, also the creative lead of Value 360 Communications pitching in as the soloist. Sumit Sharma, another rapper, along with Aanchal, has penned the lyrics for the PR anthem. The video has been shot within the premises of the headquarters of Value 360 in South Delhi starring some of its own employees to give an authentic feel of what a PR workplace is all about.
Commenting on the rap anthem, Kunal said, “The profession of Public Relations is perceived to be a very serious discipline but it also has a fun element to it which people often miss out on. We decided to merge the gravity of the work pressure with the crazy mandates that are part of the job to create something that strikes a chord with every PR professional. The idea was to connect the trials and tribulations, and the ups and downs of working in a PR firm with a light-hearted, humorous take on it. The anthem picturises the love-hate relationship we share with our work. Music is universal in its reach and we could find no better way for the expression of our creativity. The team has had a lot of fun working on the idea and has shown tremendous enthusiasm to put this together and I am sure it will find resonance with everyone in this field.”
