INDIA GATE BASMATI RICE SATYAGRAHA

There was an  announcement of the association between the trusted and world no 1 brand of basmati rice, India Gate Basmati rice and the much anticipated  ‘Satyagraha – Democracy Under Fire’ by Prakash Jha.  The event was attended by the film’s director Prakash Jha along with Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgn and Amrita Rao.
With a glorious 120 year heritage, KRBL, the makers of India Gate Basmati rice, today occupy the top spot in the Indian rice industry. KRBL‘s efforts to empower the farmers, and empower the consumers with healthy choices, and Satyagraha’s belief in the power of the people’s movement make them a perfect pair.

As part of this exciting collaboration, an event was held at JW Marriot Mumbai on 24th August 2013 to felicitate the cast and crew of Satyagraha, for paving the way for change by showcasing a revolution against corruption via the country’s biggest and most influential medium.
The event was also attended by 25 Lucky winners from across the country who had participated in the India Gate Satyagraha contest, which was held in past month. The winners were thrilled with the opportunity of a lifetime to meet the cast and crew and interact with them.
