connects virtual world with the festival.
How do you make film lovers around the world participate in IFFI 2014 ?  Talkathon @ IFFI has an answer for this.  This new media initiative covering Twitter, Facebook and YouTube gives an opportunity to twitterati from India and abroad to ask questions to a panel of film makers,  actors and festival organizers through tweets or Facebook posts.
Talkathon @ IFFI which aims to connect “virtual place with the physical world” witnessed a virtual inauguration today, by the Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Delhi, by greeting the panelists at IFFI Goa.  Col. Rathore said “Talkathon would enable global audience to interact with the film personalities present at IFFI, Goa through the social media platforms of the I&B Ministry within specific time period”.
Today’s session of ‘Talkathon @ IFFI’  saw the presence of renowned director Shri David Dhawan, TV artiste Prachi Shah  and anchor cum actor Manish Paul discussing and answering the questions put forth by  the people through social media platforms. Chilean actress Loreto Aravena was also present.  The event was broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. It was also live streamed at IFFI premises in Goa.

About Talkathon @ IFFI

Talkathon @ IFFI will be a regular feature till the end of the festival. Questions, comments and queries from film lovers will be discussed live with guests. You can ask questions between 4-5 PM on Twitter and Facebook using #IFFI2014.  The programme, anchored by Rahul Agarwal and Santosh Ajmera will be aired on the I&B YouTube Channel live at 4.30 p.m.
