Himesh Reshammiya to be the new judge of Indian Idol Season 11
Indian Idol has seen 10 successful seasons and now the 11th season too has crossed all records in TRP charts. With an amazingly talented line up of contestants, the show also has an experienced judge panel. Now, the show will see a new addition to the names of the judges as Himesh Reshammiya joins Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani. This year’s theme of Indian Idol ‘Ek Desh Ek Awaaz’ is breaking all stereotypes and celebrates diversity in its true sense. Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal join the trinity Judges for the weekend episode to give a new high to the ongoing show.
Himesh Reshammiya was previously seen judging Sony Entertainment Television’s Superstar Singer and now, returning back to SET with Indian Idol feels like homecoming to him. On this, Himesh Reshammiya said, “I was a part of Superstar Singer and now my journey continues on Indian Idol 11. Indian Idol is not only one of India’s longest running singing reality shows but also one of the most iconic one!
I am extremely elated to be on the judges panel. From here on the responsibility only increases two fold. I have been following this season and I must say that this year has seen phenomenal singers come forward, who I am sure will create ripples in the Indian music industry. In addition to being a platform for the best music, it is also an embodiment of ‘ Ek Desh Ek Awaz’ as it witnesses support of the entire nation despite caste, creed or religion.”
