Hard hitting song Maula Maula from The Attacks of 26/11 launched at Leopold Café

It was sheer reminiscence for all those present at the Leopold Café for the launch of the soul stirring song ‘Maula Maula’ from The Attacks of 26/11. Sung by Sukwinder Singh, the song manages to bring out all the emotions the city experienced on the 26th of November 2008.

The song was launched at Leopold Café at 9.30 p.m., the very hour when the dreadful attacks took over the city’s peace and harmony. The event begun with a peaceful candle march from Gateway Of India with around 200 students lighting the candle in memory of the 26/11 victims and martyrs.

They later assembled at Leopold Café where Ram Gopal Varma, Sukhwinder Singh and Nana Patekar were present amongst others. Ram Gopal Varma shared his experience about shooting at Leopold. He also spoke about the newly launched song Maula Maula, which is the theme song of the film. Sukhwinder Singh performed the soul stirring melody at the event.

Nana Patekar shared his experience about working on a film that is a cinematic version of the tragic event of 26/11. The survivors of the Leopold incident too were invited on stage who spoke about the traumatic experience.

Sung by Sukhwinder Singh & Rooshin Dala, the theme song of The Attacks of 26/11 certainly echoes the sentiments of the Mumbaikars during the tragic turn of events.
