The official game of the movie, developed by Vroovy has ranked No. 1 in the top trending games category on Google Play

The success of the game was celebrated today at the event in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan and Neeraj Roy

The captivating ‘Indiaawale’ gang is certainly going places! After capturing a million hearts on the silver screen, the entire cast of Happy New Year is creating blockbuster records on the app store too! The official game – ‘Happy New Year : The Game’, developed by Vroovy (a joint venture between South Asia’s largest Digital Media Company Hungama and India’s largest game service company Gameshastra) has ranked 1st in the top trending games category and 2nd in the top trending apps category on Google Play.

Within a week of its launch, the game has surpassed a million downloads across platforms including smartphones, feature phones, mobile, DTH and social game of Happy New Year: The Game. The success of the game was celebrated at the event held ​on the 27th of October ​ at Taj Lands End in Mumbai.

The game in the voice of SRK and the cast is built in a way wherein one has to go through various strategic situations to either steel or save the casino during the journey towards New Year by selecting to play either in SRK or Abhishek’s team.

It involves role play where the user itself would choose its own favorite character in the beginning of the game amongst the two heroes of the movie Shahrukh Khan & Abhishek Bachhan

If the user chooses to be Abhishek then he will have to take all the possible measures to safe guard his casino.

If the user chooses to be Shahrukh, he will have to be very clever & smart to steel the casino safe.
