  • ·        Provides coin dispensing facility even to non-customers walking in
  • ·        Shopkeepers and traders can also deposit cash at anytime
  • ·       Helps detect fake currency notes

With Banks across the country closed from August 18-20, the spotlight is once again on the technologically advanced E-Lobby facility, which offers 24 X 7 X 365 banking even during Bank holidays and strikes. In fact, the E-Lobby facility offered by a leading cooperative bank in Mumbai – Greater Bombay Cooperative Bank (“Greater Bank”) in Navi Mumbai (Nerul and Kharghar), Dombivali and Versova (Andheri West) includes select services such as coins dispensing to non-customers too in the current context of problems related to getting ‘loose change’. It also helps traders and shopkeepers to deposit cash at any given time of the day and night and get prop0er receipts. It also detects fake currency notes.

Lobby Banking is defined as the automated delivery of new and traditional banking products and services without the intervention of the bank staff and through the interactive communication channels.
