Grand Trailer Launch *First Ever Biopic in Kannada Cinema *Vijayanand* RELEASING ON 9TH DECEMBER 2022.

A Popular Politician and Businessman, He was born on 2nd August 1950 in Gadag-Betageri, Karnataka, India.

Chairman of India’s largest logistics firm VRL Group. He is also known for being the owner of the largest fleet of commercial vehicles in India.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in commerce from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He was a former Member of Parliament and was elected from the Dharwad (North) constituency in the 11th, 12th and 13th Lok Sabha elections and he was also a member of the Legislature of the State of Karnataka. He was a member of Central Government committees, such as, the Committee of Finance between 1996 and 1997, the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Surface Transport between 1996 and 2000 and the Committee of Transport and Tourism between 1998 and 2000. He has over three decades of experience in the transport industry. He has received various awards including the ‘Udyog Ratna’ in 1994 by the Institute of Economic Studies, New Delhi, Aaryabhat Award in 2002, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Memorial Award in 2007 and the Transport Samrat in 2008. He was recently selected as ‘Transport Personality of the year’ during the recently concluded India Road Transportation Awards 2012 (IRTA).

But when A Biopic is being made on A Happening Legend who became An Example in Starting from A Very Humble Beginning and going on to become Number One in his chosen Domain and there on spreading his wings and creating an Empire for Generations to take a lead from and get Inspiration, however much you speak about will always fall short of the kind of achievement and praise he has been showered with.

Film *Vijayanand* is the story of A Transport and Media Baron *Padma Shri Vijay Sankeshwar* 

A family man out and out was reflected through the participation of the whole family led by his *Wife Lalita Vijay Sankeshwar* always standing Rock Solid behind his Achievements *Son Anand Sankeshwar* and the beautiful and Emotional Growth Journey he shared with his father and the responsibilities as the *Managing Director of VRL Group* 

His *Daughters and Grandson* all in attendance at the Grand trailer launch held in Bengaluru on 19th November 2022. Stands testimony to the strong bonding.

This all was quite evident when I interacted with *Anand Sankeshwar* who was so humble and down to earth and when I was introduced to the whole family and you feel at home right away.

Now the main protagonist *Nihal Rajput* who plays *Vijay Sankeshwar* Siri Prahalad playing Lalita V Sankeshwar and Bharath Bopanna playing Anand Sankeshwar All have contributed to the making of this Magnum Opus as it looks from the Trailer. 

And most importantly the young director *Rishita Sharma* the originator of the basic idea of making a Biopic and ultimately convincing the man himself *Padma Shri Vijay Sankeshwar* and the man behind the Realisation of *Vijayanand* taken over by  *Anand Sankeshwar* Man behind VRL FILMS forms the essence and making of the film . VIJAYANAND.

Now the Icing on the cake can’t be summed up better when you see the launch of the trailer at the hands of Shri Basavaraj Somappa Bommai An Indian Politician, Engineer and Member of Bhartiya Janta Party and Current and 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka doing the Honours & Heaping Praise in his long extended speech  for the man he has known and seen growing the Visionary Dr.Vijay Sankeshwar. He was also accompanied by the Health Minister in his Cabinet Dr. Sudhakar who also spoke highly about *Vijay Sankeshwar* 

All in All it was an event to remember when in all this years I had the opportunity to watch the trailer of the film NOT ONCE OR TWICE WHICH IS GENERALLY THE NORM  BUT  for nearly 10 Times At A Stretch AND THAT TOO IN ALL THE LANGUAGES IT IS BEING RELEASED. And still Could Not Get Enough Of It.
