GoodNewwz Film Review – Fully Loaded Emotional Entertainer !

First and Foremost Kudos to Karan Johar and Hiroo Johar and his Dharma Productions along with Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan for producing such a wonderful meaningful cinema and trying to create an awareness about IVF Technology A Miracle of Science

Spread the word it’s #GoodNewwz for sure for all those reproductively challenged couples and mind well what a way to deliver the message.

Akshay Kumar who plays Varun Batra seems to be relishing every bit of the character. He just doesn’t miss for once the comic timing and the punches where it is needed the most.

He is evolving big time as a versatile actor ready to attempt any and every genre that suits his taste buds

Kareena Who plays Deepti Batra a Press Reporter the Gorgeous beautiful Diva ‍♀️ is a Visual Delight and lights up the screen  the moment she enters the frame. She is just too good. Take my word for it she is excellent in practically most of her interactions with all the characters and especially with Akshay and later when she jams up with Kiara both in their seventh month of pregnancy ?

Very touching scenes where you get to see some real emotions flow.

Second couple in play Kiara Advani who plays Monika Batra and Diljit Dosanjh who plays Popular Singer Rapper Honey Batra are both indeed a treat to watch out for. Right at the outset they appear loud and bombastic but are genuinely soft hearted jovial and happy go lucky, Very grounded and inhibited free spirited Punjabi couple which they live it out perfectly.

The basic premise of the film is an Accidental Sperm mix up and the dramatic events that occur in the lives of the two diametrically different couples. The goof ups result due to both couples sharing the same surname Batra’s.

The Conflicts and Confrontations that ensue between Monika and Honey and Varun and Deepti Batra’s make it an all consuming reality Cinema leading to promoting a brave subject and educating the masses with IVF technology.

Especially the second half where emotions are conveyed so sensitively. It’s a given fact that women’s only craving in life remains mothering a child and when they see that happening, they just can’t think of anything else but feel blessed 

Both Kareena and Kiara have done their bit and make it a viewing experience on celluloid.

Akshay and Diljit however differently aligned they may sound or appear to be could not run ‍♀️ away from the facts of life and the realisation they undergo through their better half Kareena and Kiara come across equally emotionally charged.

Writer Jyoti Kapoor has done a great job  with the story by fine tuning the narrative with researched data and details from some true stories.

Director Raj Mehta deserves credit for attempting such a relevant subject and treating it equally with care and concern and doing full justice to the content on hand and extracting super fine performances from the super talented cast.

As for music  input the wedding track “Sauda Khara Khara is already Rocking on popularity chart helps in adding to the overall flavour and “Chandigarh Mein which is a party number comes with the end titles besides remix tracks which helps maintaining the momentum.

But the film  is predominantly a performance specified family drama involving high voltage emotions, laughter, gags, goof ups and subtle humour.

The film  is no doubt educational and entertaining but also sends across a strong message for all the deprived souls that everything is possible where there are Efforts and Hope to sustain them.
