Starting early, at the tender age of 14, Gaysil Naubert is now an established singer, dancer, item performer and choreographer. Her initial introduction to filmdom was theater and she has done several successful tours of Europe and the USA as a theater artiste. After coming back from the US, Gaysil decided to exercise her vocal cords and got her first break from BMG Crescendo in the late 90s as a lead singer in an all-girl band. The album was a rocking success and there was no looking back for Gaysil from then on. Sambhalke which was released by BMG Crescendo was followed by several other videos and albums over a span of ten years. Some of her videos where she has featured in either as a singer or a dancer or both include Sambhalke (BMG Crescendo), Dhoor chala aaya by Silk Route (BMG Crescendo), DJ Amit’s Baar Baar dekho (Times Music), Jhini by Indian Ocean, singer Sanjana’s Ye Mera Dil, Madhushree’s Lagi Lagan and many more.
Gaysil has trained in western classical ballet, jazz, tap, salsa, flamenco and contemporary dance. She made her entry into Bollywood with a dance sequence or item song with Hrithik Roshan in the film Koi Mil Gaya. She has also featured with Aftab Shivdasani in the film Muskaan and many other films where she performs either as an item performer or dancer. She has featured in about 10 Kannada and Tamil films either as an item dancer or singer.
Gaysil has also stirred the world of Tollywood with her performances in 7/G Brindaban Colony in the song January Madam and also in the title track of the film Party directed by Ravi babu. The song is titled Kiss me Lachmi. Having done hundreds of corporate events, product launches, award nights, beauty pageants and fashion shows either as a singer or a dancer or choreographer or all three all over the world, Gaysil is looking forward to the release of her forthcoming film project which will project her into the big league.
