Fox Star Studios & Vishesh Films celebrate the musical success of Murder 3
Celebrating a hattrick of songs at the top of the music charts, the cast & crew of Fox Star Studios & Vishesh Films’ Murder 3 along with music composer Pritam and Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid, thanked the music lovers and the media at a well turned out event in the suburbs.
Boasting of an Indian and a Pakistani composer, the success of the music of Murder 3 is particularly signficant since all its tracks have been lapped up by the music lovers. Composed by Pritam, the melodious`Teri Jukhi Nazar’ entered the charts within a week of its release, while `Mat Aazma Re’ and ‘Jaata Hai’ steadily climbed their way to the top rankings. Another song that gained popularity was Hum Jee Lenge” by Pakistani singer Mustafa, proving yet again that great music transcends national boundaries.
Talking about the song “Hum Jee Lenge” Mahesh Bhatt, said “I’m very happy that the music of the film has received an overwhelming response – My brother from across the border has sent this beautiful song “Hum Jee Lenge” that captures the essence of Murder 3 perfectly….We maintained the essence and soul in the music of our latest Murder installment and the fact that audiences have embraced it only goes to show that melody and love as an emotion still occupy a huge space in people’s hearts and minds”.
Debutant but confident director, Vishesh Bhatt, was filled with gratitude, “I’d like to thank everyone for applauding and liking the music. When I first met Pritam to discuss the music of the film, my brief to him was that the songs should capture all shades of love … everyone is at a different stage of love and this album covers all those stages”.
Award winning music composer Pritam added, “As soon as we were done recording Mat Aazma Re , I told Mukeshji to shelve it since I thought we could do a better job on the song.However the next day Mukeshji turned up at my studio ,told me how the song had grown on him and would be one of the best songs of the year. The fact that the song has done well shows how well the makers have their pulse on the market.”
Addressing the audiences Vijay Singh,CEO Fox Star Studios, added “We met a month earlier but this time around we meet again to celebrate the success of the music of the film. The songs of Murder 3 were instant hits as soon as they were launched across the radio, music streaming sites and mobile network platforms.2 songs are amongst the Top 7 songs playing on the radio, while the others are getting increasingly popular.Very rarely do you see all the songs of a film featuring across various charts and we’ve been lucky to witness it with Murder 3.”
