Flash Cricket frenzy grips Delhi Unmukt Chand play Flash Cricket with Dhoni’s World Cup winning bat

NEW DELHI, Flash cricket – a joint initiative of Dilli Aaj Tak and Delhi Daredevils has raised the excitement of our own Dilliwallah. Sagar Apartment at Tilak marg was witness to an exhilarating game of cricket where Flash Cricket was played with world’s most expensive bat.  This same bat was used by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in World Cup 2011 finals on 2 April 2011 at Wankhede Stadium hitting the winning shot. Delhi Daredevils player Unmukt Chand played some classic shot with Dhoni’s bat.

Excitement in Sagar Apartment was palpable as Delhi Daredevil cricketers played with the residents of the locality. Local residents turned up in huge number to participate in Flash Cricket, few lucky ones were thrilled to hold Dhoni’s bat. The most expensive cricket bat had sold at auction for £100,000 ($161,295)/ Rs. 87 Lakhs, bought by R K Global Shares & Securities Ltd (India), at the M.S Dhoni’s ‘East Meets West’ Charity Dinner, in London, UK, on 18 July 2011.

Flash Cricket, which is all about cricket anytime, anywhere and in any scenario has become the talk of town. In a week’s time Flash Cricket is gaining popularity as it moves from one locality to another market places to Malls to office complexes. Flash Cricket has democratized the game and brought the common man in the middle of the action
