Harshall Kamat, Director and Founder of Mad Dance Company puts together a theatrical dance drama “Soul of India” is a show with colorful costumes, extravagant dance pieces and the exuberance and flair of all things Indian.
A peek into the past legends of India, and a glimpse into the future of humanity as we see it… in essence, it’s a story about what India was, what mankind stands for, and what the future beholds. What sets the show apart is along with all the entertainment, there’s an underlying feeling of eternal love, respect and longing we feel for each other as human beings.
The climax forces us to ponder upon the real meaning of freedom. It makes us rethink of the questionable situation we, as mankind find ourselves in. It is India’s message to the world, straight from the heart… straight from the Soul!
