Film Finance Conference, Mumbai to benefit filmmakers

In 2012, Indian cinema completes 100 years of its existence and yet there is a yawning gap between financiers and filmmakers. According to Mr Anurag Khanna, Chairman & MD, Banknet Group, it is now high time to bring to Indian cinema the concept of Film Finance Conferences which has succeeded the world over in bridging the gap between investors and films.  Such conferences help  independent filmmakers as they bring them face to face with prospective investors and also update them on various options of funding and therefore add to the growth of film related business. We have therefore taken the initiative to launch Film Finance Conferences in India, says Mr Khanna.
