Film, Fashion, Corporate & Sports personalities dazzle at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon Pre-Event Party
Procam International, the country’s leading sports management company today hosted a pre-event party for India’s premier most prestigious marathon, – the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon at The Trident Hotel, Nariman Point, the event’s Hospitality Partner.
The Pre-Marathon Party was attended by the crème de la crème of Mumbai’s film and fashion industries, along with captains of industry from the corporate world among others. Edwin Moses, the legendary American track and field athlete and international event ambassador for this year’s Mumbai Marathon was seen enjoying the social evening and taking in the hospitality that India is so known for.
Famed as one of Asia’s richest marathons with over US$ 377,000 in prize money, the 13th edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon will be held on Sunday, 17th January.

The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon or the SCMM, as it is popularly called, embodies the best of India. The prestigious annual event, held on the third Sunday of January, is a sporting extravaganza that is unmatched in the participation it gets, its achievements over the years and in the way that it gives back to the community. With a participation of more than 40,000 runners and fitness enthusiasts, the SCMM ranks amongst the top ten marathons held across the world making it the largest participative sport in India. It attracts a global audience with runners from over different nationalities participating in the event.
Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon is also the single-largest platform for charity fundraising in India. Over the trajectory of 13 years, the marathon has raised INR 170 crores, benefiting over 300 non-profit organizations. The last edition of SCMM raised over INR 24 crores and this year is set to surpass it.
