The team of A Rainy Day shared their views and core message of the film making it a must watch movie for this year by Rajendra Talak Creations

 Spreading the positive message across Maharashtra against corruption, the team of A Rainy Day shared their views regarding the movie. Today each one in India is suffering with the storm of corruption, this movie gives a simple message that we need to stop corruption from our home. 

Today beyond Malasa movies, handful of professionals is taking efforts to create awareness in our country and feature film is the best mode to reach maximum people and spread the message. Therefore quality Marathi cinemas are observed in film industry.

 

This January 31, 2014, the industry will witness a quality Marathi cinema ‘A Rainy Day’ by Rajendra Talak Creations. The film is spearheaded by director Rajendra Talak with his long sighted vision. Rajendra Talak started his carrier in film making in 1996 and today he believes in sharing serious social messages through his movies.

 

“This film is our small initiative to highlight the problem of corruption in the society and how it affects the families. As a parent we do check our children’s school bag. The day when you find any property in your child’s bag, we quickly question and that’s the first step. If we learn from our childhood of not accepting things which we don’t own, this will certainly solve many questions of our life. Our simple intention is every individual has a super power, only we need to identify it… move positive… follow your values… India will certainly be a better place to live in”, said director Rajendra Talak.

 

A Rainy Day is a story of a go-getter and an achiever, Aniket (Subhod Bhave) who wants to be rich quickly. He would resort to any means in order to get what he wants including bribe people, entice them with immoral ‘gifts’ or even get people off his path. Aniket’s wife Mugdha (Mrinal Kulkarni) does not approve of his deeds. The story of the film revolves around corruption, Mugdha’s extra-sensory powers, their shattering married life and Aniket’s never ending desires.

Added further Mrinal Kulkarni said, “I’m enacting a role of a simple housewife. Mugdha is a lady who loves her family and values taught by her mother. At each step she fights between the values taught by her mother and husband’s never ending demands heading towards wrong path. As women Mugdha takes strong decision in this movie. It’s a must watch movie for every women. This movie will help you to understand how women play an important role in an individual’s life. I personally believe if a women wants, she can certainly curb corruption to a large extend.” 

The team of professionals has come together with their expertise to make this movie a success. The film story, screenplay and direction is done by Rajendra Talak, produced by Rajendra Talak Creations and Iris Productions, while Director of Photography (DOP) is Sanjay Jadhav, dialogues and screenplay by Abhiram Bhadkamkar, Sound designer Resul Pookutty and Amrit Pritam Dutta, editor Vidyadhar Pathare, art director Ajit Dandekar, music is manned by Ashok Patki with the excellent lyrics by Saumitra and artists like Mrinal Kulkarni, Subodh Bhave, Ajinkya Deo, Harsh Chhaya, Neha Pendse, Sulabha Arya, Sanjay Mone, Kiran Karmatkar and Manoj Joshi.
