Feature film competition category
In the feature film competition category, total 30 films have beenselected from the beginning of the year 2011. Out of these 10 films are from theIndian subcontinent and 3 out of them had received National Film Awards in therecent past.
In JIFF 2012, in total 30 feature films have been chosen and outof them 20 films are from the foreign countries. Among these, ‘A Separation’ has gotthe best director and actress award in JIFF 2012 and also bestowed with anOscar in the 84th AcademyAwards.
These are some of the key factors due to which the credibility ofJaipur International Film Festival had increased rapidly on the world daiswithin a period of few years. Thisyear JIFF wants more selection across the world. Please note that in thefeature film category of JIFF 2013 the following awards will be there.

REDROSE – For best released film between October2010 and November2011
GREENROSE – For a film which gives global message
