Fashion designer Sumitdas Gupta at Banglore Fashion Week.
Fashion designer Sumitdas Gupta from Kolkatta a graduate from National Institute Kolkatta & New Delhi was at Banglore Fashion Week last month. The 7th Edition of “Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week – Winter Festive 2012 in association with Godrej Properties” is took place from 26th – 29th July,2012, where in designers like Meera Muzzafar Ali, Pria Kataria Puri, Jatin Kocchhar, Narendra Kumar and Sumit Das Gupta’s participated. The 7th edition of BPBFW features BFW Tunes, an exclusively produced collection of music that is tailored for each designer by an exclusive group of DJs.
When asked about his collection in BFW he said “My theme of BFW was DURGA PUJA, and all the outfits were designed keeping one thought in mind that it should reflect that festive spirit, & since I belong to a state that is well known for its Rich Art & Culture, I always ensure I could showcase it in my collection”.
Sumit choosed mixture of bright colors for dresses like maroon, green, move, electric blue, golden, ivory, bride mango, etc. for the best outfits, which people would love to wear in festive season.
Fabrics used for collection was best for its quality including, broket, net, gorget, lycra, shiffon, velvet, sattin, etc wearable in that particular season.
Regarding bride’s choice for shopping in this season Sumit selection was multi-color lehangaas, fancy broket lehangaas, 20 mtr. gher anarkali suits, shaded lehangaas & velvet(cut work) corset and Pattern sarees with a designer touch also. Sumit’s suggestion for brides with slim figure is it should match with their complexions, and with a bit healthy figure he suggests Fancy Broket Lehangaas.
