Social networks reveal the Indian fans’ restlessness as they eagerly await the arrival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in India, Paramount Pictures’ next animated action flick. A month is still to go before the film is finally released in India, and the makers are keeping the audience engaged with fresh behind-the-scenes videos. The latest in the series explores details of the Turtles’ splendid weapons.
With the latest ‘Know Your Weapons’ video, Paramount Pictures India gives the fans an exclusive glimpse of the Turtles’ sleek armoury as they get ready to wage a battle against a deadly villain, the ‘Shredder’. The video speaks about how the turtles have specialized in different forms of Ninjutsu and portrays how their arsenal is an extension of their personality.
According to the video, Leonardo, the leader with a blue bandana is known for the use of his ‘Katana’, while rebellious Raphael who is always seen with a red bandana makes excellent use of his favourite weapon ‘Sai’. The hilarious Michelangelo with his quirky orange bandana loves the ‘Nunchaks’ and the tech-savvy Donatello in his purple bandana impresses with his ‘Bo Staff’. The makers have added a fresh, more realistic look to the turtles even though their colours, weapons of choice and other basics have been kept constant.
Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Characters Created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. The film stars actors Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg. Produced by Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker, Scott Mednick, Ian Bryce, TMNT Movie will be released by Viacom18 Motion Pictures in India on 29th August, 2014.
