After announcing the trilingual, Haathi Mere Saathi last year, Eros International’s forthcoming animal drama featuring Rana Daggubati, Pulkit Samrat, Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussein and Kalki Koechlin has completed its second schedule. The movie is titled Kaadan in Tamil and Aranya in Telugu.
Helmed by acclaimed director Prabhu Solomon, the trilingual is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil with a different cast across languages. The music has been composed by Shantanu Moitra and sound designed by Resul Pookutty.
Interestingly, Rana attended an extensive workshop for 50 days in Thailand to gain a deeper understanding of the nuances of elephants and has also shed almost 15kg for his character. The film is mounted on a huge scale with never-seen-before visual effects this genre is being shot extensively at real locations in Thailand and Kerala.
