Eros International unveils the first-look poster of their first Bengali production Monchora directed by the emminent filmmaker Sandip Ray
Kolkata/Mumbai, Eros International Media Ltd. (Eros International) along with M.M Movies unveiled the first-look poster of Monchora (The Heart Stealer) in Kolkata at The Lalit Great Eastern which is slated to release this new year. Monchora, the romantic drama, is directed by national-award-winning filmmaker Sandip Ray starring Abir Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Saswata Chattopadhya, June Maila, Paran Bandapadhyay in lead roles.
Speaking on the occasion, director Sandip Ray said, “Monchora is a romantic drama I have attempted for the very first time. I am happy to have associated with ErosInternational on this venture. It’s been a pleasure to have worked with Raima Sen for the first time. The entire cast of Monchora has done great work. I hope the audiences appreciate the film”.
Producer Kamal Mukut of M.M Movies added, “The Bengali film industry has an enormous pool of talent who have been creating high quality, content-driven films since years. Following the stupendous success of Bela Sesha, we are excited to work with Mr Sandip Ray on Monchora. The film promises to be very captivating”.
Based on a story by the famous author Saradindu Bandyopadhyay, Monchora brings back the most-appreciated pair of Tollywood, Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen on silver screen. The film revolves around a thief. Along with Abir Chatterjee and Raima Sen, the film also stars Saswata Chatterjee, June Malia and Paran Bandhyopadhyay.
