Eros International & Sanjay Leela Bhansali launch the first-look trailer of the magnum opus – Ram Leela.

Eros International and Bhansali Productions’ Ram Leela starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh saw the launch of its first-look trailer today, at a popular suburban multiplex.

Launched by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali , along with producer Sunil Lulla and leads Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh,the larger-than-life trailer spoke volumes of the grandeur and magnanimity of the contemporary-classic ,a Sanjay Bhansali signature.

Talking about the title of the film said Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ” This is a very important film for me. Leela is my mother’s name and it was my dream to have a film that honored her name. “.

Set in the present day, magnificent vibrant landscape of Gujarat, woven with song and dance, Ram Leela, takes audiences through love in turbulent times,where worlds collide,wars are fought and destinies are written in blood forever.

Said Ranveer Singh, “I was destined to be in this film and work with Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Sir. I’ve put in a lot of effort on my look in the film. While doing this film I felt at home, this is a huge film with lots of vibrant colors. ”

On being asked about her role,Deepika Padukone said, “Leela is the female version of Ram. She is ready to take all the challenges but at the end of the day she is emotional. This role is like me in real life”.

On the occasion said producer Sunil Lulla, “Being a part of this film journey has been exciting. Sanjay is a great director and the way he makes his films with all the ingredients is a great experience to watch”.

Eros International & Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh is scheduled to release November 15th 2013.
